Come to this page to pay your annual dues, buy chapter t-shirts, donate to the scholarship fund, etc. The Chapter uses PayPal to process on-line payments securely. You do not have to have a PayPal account to pay via major credit card. When you have finished shopping, follow the link in the shopping cart to "Don't have a PayPal account?" You'll just be asked for your credit card information, address, and security information. Please consider "shipping address" your home mailing address.
Membership (New or Renewal)
It's that time again to join your local alumni chapter. If you don't join the local chapter, you aren't able to get bowl tickets through us (remember the Big 10 has contracts with two bowl games here in Florida and a tie-in to the Orange Bowl via the BCS), get special pricing on events, get special invitations to tailgate parties, get free goodies at viewing parties (there are some top secret ones planned for our members only), etc. We need your support in order to keep having the great activities we've had over the years. Please join today!
Please note that dues have increased for 2011-2012. We've gone to a simplified stucture: $20 either individual or family. Of the $20, $5 will be automatically allocated to the Joint Trustees' $50,000 Endowment Campaign. This is our first ever increase, yet dues for the chapter are still well below those of other chapters.
Please consider making an additional donation to the Endowment Fund. For your convenience, we've included an additional $5 or $10 in the membership dues options here. If your generosity impels you to give more, please use the box in the next section to enter your own preferred amount.
Alumni Night with the Rays
August 6, 2011
This event will kick off our fall season. As we do occasionally, we are taking a break from our Big 10 Kickoff Picnic and heading west to Tampa to watch the Tampa Bay Rays take on the Oakland Athletics with other local alumni groups.
There are two different ticket options which will get you a game ticket, an additional freebie (based on which ticket you purchase) and a free concert after the game by the Goo Goo Dolls. It’s a great way to beat the heat and bring the kids out to watch our own AL East Champs, the Tampa Bay Rays! Please see the information page for more details.
Lower box seating including a new Rays hat is $43 ($45 online). Lower level outfield seat including a food voucher is $29 ($31 online).
Please note that the prices shown in the flyer ($43 and $29) are subject to a $2 surcharge if purchased via the Chapter Store. We're not making anything on these tickets, and PayPal charges some hefty transaction fees, which we need to recoup. We hope you'll understand the need for the surcharge.
We will look into a charter bus for a minimal cost to each person. Details to follow. Just be certain to check the appropriate box below if you wish to be contacted when details are known.
