2008 Big Ten Student Sendoff/Kickoff Picnic
A Fun Time Was Had by All!
The annual Big Ten Student Sendoff/Kickoff Picnic was held at Orlando's Turkey Lake Park on Sunday, August 17. The weather cooperated and we had a great turnout, including lots of friends from Michigan and Ohio State (such friendship to be briefly suspended during October). Our intrepid leader and photojournalist, Katie Bartoo, has provided photos.
As you might know, the Ohio State Alumni Club of Central Florida conducted a collection of school supplies for A Gift for Teaching. Following is a list of supplies donated at the event.
